Tony Gentilcore and Dean Somerset have a combined 45 years of experience in the fitness industry. They’ve been featured in international publications, taught workshops around the world, and are known for their ability to distill complex topics into actionable steps any trainer can use to make their work better.

Tony Gentilcore


Tony is the former co-owner of Cressey Sport Performance, a niche baseball specific training facility that developed players from high school through to each pro team in MLB. His current facility, Core Collective in Brookline, Massachusetts, provides a unique training environment to trainers, allied health professionals, and clients in a mico-lease format that allows him maximum freedom with minimal oversight.

Dean Somerset

Dean is a kinesiologist and Clinical Exercise Physiologist in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. He doesn’t own a facility, but has found success as an independent trainer. He’s consulted with Fortune 500 companies, commercial and private training facilities, and other independent trainers on how to improve their training programs all while actively training clients, writing, and teaching workshops.
